problem accessing youtube videos

evverytime i try and play a youtube video, the picture comes up on the screen, but no sound is playing. i really don't know what the problem is, as all other videos on other websites play fine.

does anyone have ideas?

Is it happening on severall different videos on youtube? It has happened to me occasionally, I just assumed it was the video not an access issue.

Maybe you muted the youtube player by a mistake.
It happened to me before. I don't think the buttons are labeled correctly so either ask a sighted person to have a look or try all the buttons untill you hear the sound back.

To post 7: there is a button to the right of the volume button that toggles fullscreen on or off.

And to post 9: you technically aren't allowed to download youtube videos but there are several software packages available online for free that will let you snag the video as an FLV file, but they are usually a little buggy. If any of you use Ubuntu Linux you can go into your /tmp folder in the root and find a ready to copy FLV file there,
